Make the most of your time in the city and check out what adventures are waiting just around the corner.

What Boston parks are open?
Almost all public Boston parks, playgrounds, and splash pads are open, including Boston Common, Statler Park, Lincoln Square, Eliot Norton Park, Frieda Garcia Children’s Park, Isabella Street Park, and the Boston Public Garden- all right around the corner from Revere Hotel. Back Bay Fens and Lederman Park are also close by, offering even more gardens and play areas for kids and families.

What park facilities are open?
While public parks are open, there are some limits on what facilities are available for use. Any passive space used for cycling, running, walking, and riding non-motorized skateboards or scooters is open. You can also use athletic fields for general recreation, including tennis and pickball courts. Fitness equipment in all public parks remains closed, as are basketball, street hockey, and handball courts. All organized group sports events also remain on hold until further notice.

What guidelines are in place?
The Boston Public Health Commission recommends that people only use the parks when you’re able to maintain social distancing of at least six feet away from others. Visitors must wash their hands, utilize hand sanitizer, cover coughs and sneezes, avoid gathering in groups, and limit time in public spaces. All patrons are advised to wear a face covering while out in public to maintain public safety. rThese safety measures ensure you can enjoy your outdoor time without jeopardizing your health.
